The main objective of this paper is to identify the benefits and challenges Internet Things (IoT) application in accounting field organisations. study adopts a questionnaire an interview technique company from road transport sector. research sample includes 151 practitioners students. Data are collected through use online survey. A principal axis factor analysis with promax rotation conducted assess underlying structure for items questionnaire. outcomes indicate that, opinion accountants students, IoT adoption enables organisation perform enhanced reporting based on large amount data gained sensors (mean=3.98), access thorough cloud computing (3.97), process automation (3.95). From point view managers, most important benefit increase employee productivity asset management. respondents following aspects as challenges: creation infrastructure new technology, which accounted 40.22% variance, cyber security, loss privacy (7.23% explained variance). findings reveal could support managers deploying technology their limitation concerns fact that focuses Poland.
